City of Houston receives grant to improve and connect bike trails
Great news!
Grant to 'string beads' of city's bike paths
This will connect many of the city's bike trails to form a network more than 18 miles in length.
Almost 20 miles without having to deal with traffic is a great step forward for cyclists, joggers, and walkers.

Hot Heights Ride
Nice bike ride thru The Heights this morning. HOT but hey, it is June after all. Heights hike and bike trail, TC Jester trail, UofH, to East Side and back to Memorial. Lots of riders out this morning which is good to see.
