A BIG THANK YOU...

Members of Lone Star Veterans Association,

This past year, LSVA has seen tremendous growth and success because of the generosity and commitment of our volunteers and donors like you. Your continued support has allowed us to expand our outreach efforts and career programs to a countless number of Texas veterans and their families, but with your help we think 2015 can be even better! With your end of the year donation, we can continue growing our programs to match the growing number of military families transitioning back to the civilian workforce.

  • A donation of $100.00 can provide a Texas veteran the opportunity to attend our monthly Veteran Career Transition workshop and Warrior for Life luncheon that offers career preparation and networking with local companies.
  • For $50.00 you can give a veteran the opportunity to attend our Navigator Program, which provides peer mentors to veterans. Using a "veteran to veteran" model, newly transitioned service members are teamed up with a local veteran to assist in finding a career, applying for benefits, starting an education, dealing with emotional issues, learning about services available and a wide variety of obstacles that veterans face.
  • For $25.00 you can help support our weekly Camaraderie events. After leaving the military, many veterans find themselves on their own. LSVA hosts events, sponsors sports teams, organizes family outings, and more to bring veterans together. Knowing that veterans can meet each other is the first step in connecting with their new community.

To donate online please visit our Donation page on the LSVA website at:

or you can send a check to:

On behalf of the over 7,000 members of the Lone Star Veterans Association, have a Happy New Year and we look forward to seeing you in 2015!

Sincerely,

Chuck Bagnato

Good Afternoon!

Does anyone know which employers are going to and targeting the Warrior For Life Luncheon's? Reason I ask is so that I can do some research before attending the next event in December or January. It would be nice to know so I can create some talking points to relate to the company. Thank you for your time!
